This policy explains the cookies and similar storage ReloClear uses, why they are needed, and how you can control them.

1. What this policy covers
This policy covers cookies, local storage, and similar browser storage used by the ReloClear website and app. These technologies can store information on your device or allow information on your device to be read when you use the service.
ReloClear currently uses these technologies for strictly necessary service functions, such as login, language choice, saved results, and assessment drafts. The current codebase does not include advertising cookies or non-essential analytics cookies.
2. Strictly necessary cookies and storage
Strictly necessary storage lets the service work as requested. You can block it in your browser, but core features such as login, language preference, saved results, or assessment progress may stop working.

3. Authentication session duration
ReloClear uses a managed authentication provider. Access tokens are short-lived, while refresh tokens can keep a browser signed in by issuing new access tokens. Unless ReloClear configures a stricter timebox or inactivity timeout, the browser can remember the signed-in user until sign-out, revocation, browser storage clearing, or refresh-token failure.
For that reason, do not stay signed in on a shared or public device. Use the sign-out button when you finish.
4. Analytics, advertising, and marketing cookies
ReloClear does not currently use advertising cookies or non-essential analytics cookies in the app codebase. If we add non-essential analytics, pixels, advertising, replay, or similar tracking, we will update this policy and add any legally required consent or opt-out controls before using them.
5. Emails and link tracking
ReloClear sends transactional emails such as account verification and saved-result links. Email providers may create delivery, bounce, and security logs. We do not currently use marketing tracking pixels in transactional emails. If this changes, we will update the relevant notices and provide consent or opt-out controls where required.
6. Managing cookies and local storage
Browser controls
Most browsers let you block cookies, delete cookies, clear local storage, or use private-browsing mode. If you block or delete strictly necessary storage, parts of ReloClear may not work.
ReloClear controls
- Use sign out to end the active account session in your browser.
- Use the assessment clear control to remove an unfinished local assessment draft.
- Use your browser settings to remove all ReloClear cookies and local storage from a device.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when we add, remove, or change cookies, local storage, analytics, payment, authentication, or similar technologies. The date at the top shows when this version was last updated.
