Sweden family assessments updated for the October rules
September 24, 2026Sweden's family assessments now account for the reviewed changes taking effect on October 1, including sponsor conditions, maintenance checks, exemptions and extension transitions. Questions and reports explain the relevant family situation more clearly. The assessment uses the applicable dates, so publishing this update does not apply future requirements early.

September 24, 2026Both assessments now ask more relevant questions about work, family and dates. Spain's digital nomad questions distinguish employees from self-employed people, and uncertain answers use consistent wording across both countries. Results make it easier to distinguish an unmet requirement from something that needs checking.
Full Reports with more practical next steps
September 24, 2026Full Reports now explain requirements, supporting documents and next steps more clearly. Spain reports give more specific guidance on where and how to apply, with clearer income and savings comparisons. We also improved result labels and report layouts across Sweden and Spain so important points are easier to find.
Financial requirements by date and updated waiting-time guidance
September 23, 2026Financial checks for Sweden and Spain can now use reviewed salary and maintenance amounts for the relevant date, including scheduled changes. Saved reports retain the rules used when they were created. Sweden's waiting-time guidance also uses reviewed official statistics as planning estimates, not a promise of when an application will be decided.
Stronger monitoring of Spanish immigration changes
September 22, 2026Spain now uses the same monitoring and review process as Sweden, focused on official sources for proposed and enacted immigration changes and recurring financial amounts. We removed overlapping sources and made detected updates easier to understand. A detected change must be reviewed before it can update the assessment rules.
Study insurance and Spain assessment release
September 20, 2026Sweden SE-v4.51 distinguishes insurance already applied for from a plan to arrange it. Spain ES-v1.64 is available for testing. Version dates identify releases; “Rules last reviewed” records the legal review date and can be earlier.

Clearer qualifications, salary checks and family intake
September 15, 2026The Sweden updates through SE-v4.50 separate education from professional experience, calculate applicable salary exemptions, and explain missing occupation medians. Family questions now identify the relevant permit and household more precisely.

Sweden assessment expanded for more situations
August 25, 2026ReloClear can now assess more common situations involving people with more than one citizenship, EU/EEA and Swiss citizens, Swedish citizens returning with family, long-term EU residents, family members of permit applicants or holders, people who already have a Swedish permit, and special travel documents. If the answers are not enough for a reliable result, we clearly show what needs to be checked instead of guessing.

Timing-sensitive rules made more accurate
August 17, 2026ReloClear now uses the date that matters for each rule when checking salary thresholds and transition periods. ICT cases distinguish short assignments, long-term mobility, and travel requirements. Seasonal-work duration is calculated from the exact permit dates instead of an estimate.
